Posisi : Backend Engineer
As a Junior Back-end Engineer, you will join our technical team to develop and maintain the server-side logic, APIs and databases that power our products and services. You will work closely with front-end developers, product owners and DevOps to ensure robust, efficient, and scalable back-end systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, test and deploy back-end modules, APIs, and microservices.
2. Work with relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL) and caching systems (e.g., Redis).
3. Debug, troubleshoot and optimise system performance, reliability and scalability.
4. Collaborate with team members using version control (e.g., Git) and follow branching/pull-request workflows.
5. Learn and apply best practices in software engineering: design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and clean code.
6. Assist in the adoption of frameworks (e.g., PHP/Laravel or Golang) and modern architectures (microservices, containerisation).
7. Participate actively in code reviews, team discussions and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of backend development experience — fresh graduates are welcome.
3. Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP and/or Golang; familiarity with Laravel, Chi, Gorm frameworks is a plus.
4. Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases; familiarity with caching technologies like Redis.
5. Solid understanding of programming fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
6. Experience with Git, branching, pull/merge request workflows.
7. Willingness to work on-site in Bandung and collaborate in a dynamic environment.
